Karen Taylor currently lives in Toronto. Some years ago she began to teach herself the craft of weaving baskets with wire. As a result she started to experiment weaving bracelets and trying out new patterns on a small scale. After a number of creations she developed a full line of woven necklaces, bracelets and earrings. She uses a variety of textile techniques in her work, amongst them crochet, macramé, weaving, and knitting.
