Kate Singer
After graduating in 2001 from Queen's University, Kate moved to Toronto and developed her creativity in many mediums before finding new inspiration in creating jewellery. Her Asian inspired pendants, which quickly drew in popularity, spawned her company Marmalade Designs in 2003. This line is inspired by the transcontinental trading route said to be the most important connection between the East and the West. Hand fabricated sterling silver boxes covered with transparent glass encapsulate cropped silk brocade images forming tiny art compositions worn on your neck. The pendant is backed with genuine leather and a sterling silver chain.
