France is a ceramist from Shawinigan, Québec. She studied at the Julien School of Ceramics in Québec City. She apprenticed at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario; University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario; and La Maison du Poitier in Québec City.She studies fine earthenware processes including specialized glazes, which are fired in oxidative environments. France creates her birds and animals with her own fine cream ware of clay and engobe and treats the surface with engraved, texturized or hand painted designs. She exhibits her works in many collections across Canada.
